St Lukes Church in Westonia offers 48 hour free camping for fully Self-contained RV’s only.

St Lukes Church was originally built in 1916 at Naretha 205 mile camp along the Trans Australian Railway. When the camp was disbanded in 1918 the church was dismantled and moved to Westonia. The church has been recently decommissioned and restoration by the Westonia Community has begun on this Historic Building.

HOW TO GET THERE

Turn North off the Great Eastern Highway at Carrabin; after 7.5km turn right to stay on Carrabin-Westonia Road, after a further 1.2km this becomes Wolfram Street as you enter town.  The Church is 650m on the left.

A level parking area beside a little restored church. No facilities but there is an undercover picnic table. Westonia is a tidy attractive little town with an amazing museum - well worth a visit!

Thankyou Westonia! A beautiful,level, quiet site worth leaving the Hwy for,and a cute restored facade on the Main Street. Love the light display in the trees at night.interesting museum, heritage tavern and lovely clean public toilets. Well done.

well worth a detour from the highway. lovely little rest area. small town, historic tavern. all very interesting
