Paynesville Holiday Park

Caravan Park - Victoria

Paynesville Holiday Park is located in the beautiful holiday area of the Gippsland Lakes, known as the boating capital of Victoria.

Our park is only a short walk to the waterfront esplanade village, where you can find a selection of cafes, restaurants and retail outlets.

Across the road is the beach where you can safely swim, sun bake or walk along in the sand. A two minute walk further on is the ferry to Raymond Island, a very popular destination for all the family. Raymond Island koalas are looking forward to meeting you.

Our accommodation options include cabins, villas, caravan and camping sites.  We also have caravan ensuite sites and drive through sites large enough for motor homes.

Park facilities include a large camp kitchen, outside BBQ rotunda and games room.  Additional facilities include a solar heated swimming pool, children's splash pool, spa (Summer months only) and a playground with an inflatable jumping pillow.

Our park is ideal for couples, families and guests wishing to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday experience. Bring your bicycle and explore the area.

Our staff can assist you when exploring our beautiful area, the waterways, playing sport or taking a short ferry ride to visit koalas and other native wildlife on Raymond Island.

We were there in 2012 and I temper my remarks saying I am not sure if this was the current owners or not. We had been advised to stay in a park as the the local caravan parks were stirring the council about freedom camping. The park itself was quite OK fairly neat and tidy although we didnt use any facilities as we are self contained. Upon booking in, the male owner at reception did no get off his seat, just took our money and told us to pick whatever site we wanted and then to let him know what number we were on. We did this and plugged into a powerpoint which did not work so selected a spare one. Did not see anyone from the establishment during our overnight stay and not one person in the park spoke during our stay. Were less than impressed with the management attitude.

Park was clean and well kept with good facilities, although has some age about it. The cost was not reasonable at $75 - 2A for a powered site. It was early January in peak time but it certainly limited our stay in Paynesville.

Nice park. Grassy sites with some slabs. Great pool and spa. Short walk into town.
