Small town with a big railway history . Informative walking track from the bbq area along the old railway track with information boards showing history of the area. The pub is only open weekends at present.

This is great park, everything is here, including a book exchange which can be extended to a book place in the main street. Frank brought the key to unlock the power box and welcome us. The hotel is open tonight but he suggested we might like to book so they are prepared. Good solid gravel base to the camping area.

Excellent facilities provided by local community. Shower, toilets clean. BBQ and eating area well presented. 8 powered sites, room for about 15 rigs comfortably. Friendly committee member attended to provide key (for the shower and power). Progress Association keen to keep costs down if visitors do the right thing. Staying for quiet three days with our two small dogs. Pub down the road open from Wednesday to Sunday. Come and stay.
