Lilydale Pine Hill Caravan Park

Caravan Park - Victoria

Favourite

Pine Hill is at the centre of Victoria’s famous Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges.

We offer tourism sites in a rural setting, open spaces with native landscaping and an abundance of local bird life. RV’s, caravans, large rigs or camper vans – there is a site to suit your need.

The manicured gardens are just beautiful, with metal sculptures of eagles, a waterfall and many birds which visit the park.

Adjoining the park is a BP service station where you can purchase the necessities of life, such as bread and milk and of course, fill up the beast for your next leg of the journey.

Having stayed here in my MH for almost seven months I must say that I found the Park very comfortable and accommodating. Management and staff were friendly and helpful too. My drive through site being almost 20m long was more than enough to accommodate a big rig and Prado with ease. Only possible improvement Id say would be to increase the water pressure in the male amenities which at the moment is akin to showering under a straw. Fortunately a trauma only required in emergencies. Overall very good.

I did not think that there are any parks left that do not have a swimming pool. I was wrong. We found one. Our site was at the lowest point of the park. It was waterlogged due to the recent rain. It also was alive with mosquitoes. We went through a tin of spray and still needed repellent to get a night’s sleep. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean but it is showing it’s age. Paint is peeling on the ceiling. It was nice to have plugs in the hand basins. The tariff is high.
