This free overnight rest area is located just off the highway. Here you will find a nice, shady rest stop with a modern children's playground.
Facilities here include wood BBQ's (BYO wood), toilets, water, picnic tables and pets are allowed on a leash. Fires are not allowed.

Good overnighter, we're 10m plus tow vehicle - access and space plentiful. We were parked close to highway, noise not a worry. Only negative was dump point not level, sloping wrong way for emptying holding tanks as poo does not run uphill ??

This is an excellent camp site, mostly flat with modern toilets, children's playground and tennis courts, free to use unless at night when power is to be paid for. While situated close to the highway noise is not excessive. Site is within walking distance of the hotel for meals etc. Definitely a site to go on our favorites list.

Free. Lovely flat grassed area about 100m from road. Flushing toilets, gas bbq, picnic tables. Some shady sites available. Noise from road barely noticeable. Pub & servo within walking distance. Would stay here again.

This is a large grassed campsite & mostly flat. There is some shade available. There is a playground for children. It is a bit close to the road but that does not concern me though, others it may, but traffic dies down overnight. Good clean toilets - no showers. Telstra phone only one bar but OK - Bigpond internet a bit slow.

Have to agree with all of the above. Council is to be commended. Vodaphone reception is sparse and sometimes only 3G. Traffic noise no problem.

Excellent stopover and facilities, book exchange system, new dump point situated behind tennis courts, also a donation box on access road, please do not ignore, some road noise but that's why they invented ear plugs.

Had a great lunch at the tavern across the road opposite the BP which does gas exchanges and next to the post office. a great place to stop for a while
