Tuross Lakeside is the ideal location for anyone with a love of fishing, regardless of skill or experience. Families with young children, and the occasional optimists, are rewarded just as well as the passionate trophy chaser, whether you’re doing it from the bank or a boat. Another reason we’re a favourite amongst fishermen is because they can always catch their favourite fish here.
So, whatever it is you like to hook or cook, we’ve got them all here - bream, flatties, flounder, garfish, leatherjacket, luderick, mullet, trevally, tailor, whiting, salmon and snapper, as well as blue swimmer and mud crabs. Most fisherman jealously guard their favourite places, but we want everyone to know about ours, because there’s no greater pleasure than to reel in a big one. And there are plenty of those to go around in our lake.
Just like the fishing, staying at Tuross Lakeside is easy. And made for your comfort. So that you, your family and friends, get the most enjoyment with the least effort. After all, isn’t that what getting away is all about? How you stay here is up to you. You can simply show up and step straight into one of our roomy, waterfront cabins, or you can bring your own caravan or tent and set up on a generous sized, grassy site by the beach.
If you come with your own caravan or tent you’ll be setting up in casual comfort. All our powered caravan sites give you access to both electricity and water, while the camping sites are all generous in size and well grassed. They also come with water views too.
The caravan and camping sites all have use of a large, newly appointed camp kitchen with full cooking facilities and commercial sized barbecue.
There is plenty of shade provided by native trees and ample space for the kids to play. You’ll find easy access to the water via gentle sloping grass ways or sturdy wooden steps.
Pets are permitted on caravan and camping sites only. However, they are not permitted to stay in the park during Christmas and Easter school holidays and public holiday long weekends except under the discretion of park managers.
