This free overnight rest area is located opposite the Post Office in the main street of town. It is large and has a dirt surface, there is some shade offered here as well.
A donation is requested for the use of power, toilets and showers. There is a disabled toilet facility that also includes a disability shower and baby change table.
Please note: that the railway line runs behind the rest area.

Great overnight stay. Flat, easy access, plenty of room. Dinner at the pub across the road was good. 2x15A power outlets on the meter but need a long lead to reach, and 2x10A (6am to midnight) outlets in the shelter for small appliances or perhaps to top up house batteries. Train line adjacent but it seems the trains are very infrequent at this time of year.
