Talwood Sportsground Camping Area

This little town of Talwood has got it right. Free power and water, hot showers toilets, dump point. Maintained, so do the right thing, all you need to do is spend some money or donate at the General store. Fuel & Hotel with meals its up to us to keep these places going with support.

Nice place for a day or two. Dump point, toilets and showers. Enough room for all size rigs. Donation requested which is at the store in the main street. The post office also have a gift shop and cafe with wonderful hand made slices and coffee. I'd definitely stay again.

Thanks must go to this community for a great camping area. Showers were great but some basket has stolen a rose from the mens showers. I would recommend this to any that like bush camping as one can setup under the trees and enjoy the shade available. As it was harvest time there were some workers on site but all were pleasant. There is power available and water but we did not go powered and left those sites alone.

Well kept campground around the sports oval. Some grassy areas but mainly red soil. Plenty of space if you do not need power but can get crowded if you need power as it backs onto the amenities block. Dump point on site.
