Peninsula Caravan Park has been welcoming visitors to Cooktown and those setting off and returning for their Cape York adventure since 1974.
Situated in a grove of paperbark trees at the base of Mt. Cook and adjacent to the National Park, Peninsula offers powered sites for caravans, motor homes, grassy camping, self-contained cabins and units plus bunkhouse style accommodation for the budget conscious.
Shady and green, the park prides itself on providing amenities which are clean with laundry and drying facilities. The pool provides the opportunity for a cooling dip and visitors love the local wallabies and other wildlife that frequent the park.
