The recreation reserve was the former Berringa Cricket Club. It's currently maintained by volunteers and the Golden Plains Shire. The reserve houses a kitchen, which is available for hire and has a BBQ shelter, playground and fire pit. Camping is permitted at a small cost.
As at June 2015, the fee was $5.00 per adult per night.
