Wollombi Tavern

Free Camping - New South Wales

Favourite

Situated in the historic village of Wollombi, on the convict built Great North Road, the Tavern remains a favoured spot for travellers to and from the tourist destinations in the Hunter Valley's wine districts, and is especially popular with those wishing to take the Sunday bike ride or drive into the country around Sydney.

The Tavern's meals are huge and will not disappoint even the biggest eaters in the family. Juicy steaks and the biggest burgers are the most popular choice by all the hungry travelers.

A favourite with campervan clubs, and club car rallies, the separate reserve affords spacious accommodation for large groups (no showers available).  The Wollombi Tavern offers free camping so please leave the area tidy.

Great spot, recommend. Treat self to a beer and burger at the tavern. Enjoy a saunter through the village. Self containment a must. Toilets available at tavern and park on road.

Great spot, fires allowed depending on time of year. You are required to patronise the pub. Good meals.
