Eight months prior to the Elmore Rally, we booked 2 sites with ensuites. We didn't realize this was a CMCA Dollarwise Caravan Park until we were using Geowiki on the morning of our arrival. When I mentioned my error to Mike, without hesitation, he gave us both a substantial discount on the sites, with ensuites. Mike escorted us to our sites and was also helpful in assisting us as to where to park on the site. Both he and Cheryl were very obliging and courteous when we had some questions and followed this up a bit later, checking that everything was ok. The pool wasn't quite ready for swimming as we were coming out of winter and there had been some really cold weather, not ideal for swimming anyway. There was a RV Club staying the weekend and they couldn't speak highly enough of Mike and Cheryl and the park. This is a delightful caravan park with lots of grassy areas, a credit to the owners. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

When we rocked up the proprietor introduced himself and warmly welcomed us. After the formalities he led us by ATV to our site and guided me in. Our site was an ensuite with a car port. The ensuite was out of order so he was renting it as a normal powered site. All around was lush green grass that I wanted to take home. My dogs loved it too. The park has a kids play ground, carefully sited well away from the sites. There is also a pool and a camp kitchen. We did not use them. My only disappointment was the amenities block. There was only capacity for 5 males concurrently. Maybe this is because there were so many ensuite sites? I did not ask. When we got out of our Motorhome on (Easter) Sunday morning there were two eggs on our camping table. That was a lovely touch. Also, the proprietor farewelled us as we left.
