Mount Hay Gemstone Tourist Park is located approximately 30 minutes west of Rockhampton, along the Capricorn Highway at Wycarbah, Queensland.
The park features a fossicking area, gift shop, pewter casting workshops, and a small camping ground. The camping ground provides access to power and basic amenities such as toilets, showers, washing machines, BBQs and a picnic area.

Very basic camping and facilities, but sites are large and open with some shade and camp fires permitted. It was good fun searching for gemstones and worth the experience. The owner is very helpful and explained what to look for. As an overall experience worth a night here.
