Yaamba Rest Area is on the northbound side of the highway at Joan Tierney Park. It is located about 10 metres from the highway on a sealed surface and is a popular rest stop for all travellers. The area is large enough for motorhomes. Maximum stay is 24 hours.
Yaamba Rest Area has a large area of bitumen for overnighting and also a nice grassed area in the rest area proper. There are toilets and bins and the area is well maintained. Across the road is the hotel where you can get meals etc. There is a bt of raod noise but usually not too bad at night.
Good camp spot, on the bitumen with clean toilet block. Large area. A bit of road traffic noise. Shop over the road.

Good overnight stop ,bitumen surface, toilet, no water, a fair bit of road noise, grassed area now closed off. Pub closed until further notice.
Great area for an overnight stop over with plenty of room. Can park on bitumen or grassy area out back away from road noise. Toilet block and pub nearby.
