Bendemeer Tourist Park is situated on the beautiful Macdonald River overlooking the picturesque township of Bendemeer, just off the New England Highway between Tamworth and Armidale.

For the overnight caravaners there are easy drive through sites, so you can stay hitched (in more ways than one).  We invite you to stay another night and enjoy all that Bendemeer and district has to offer including fishing, prospecting, waterfalls, 4WD tracks, bushwalking, wineries and much more.  

Or just relax and take in the clean mountain air on Australia's largest tableland. 

Our facilities include a comfortable guest lounge and outdoor dining areas, free gas BBQs, camp fires, free broadband wifi. 

The park has a well stocked shop with Eftpos, ATM, gas bottle refills and swaps, fishing licences and always that warm country welcome.

Take a stroll across the old heritage-listed Bendemeer bridge and watch the platypus, the local ducks and other waterbirds.  

Bendemeer is a popular stopover for motorcycle, motorhome, campervan & caravan groups. The park is only a short stroll to the Bendemeer Hotel.

Unpretentious but quite functional caravan park has clean facilities, is fully grassed and well located to pretty MacDonald river and town facilities. Only $10 per couple for CMCA members ($5 extra for power). Just short walk to Bendameer Hotel with great and excellent value dining complete with outside seating in a very spacious, grassy garden setting overlooking river.

The park is a modest small town park in a beautiful situation overlooking the river and the town. Our host were lovely people and while there is a nearby low cost camp (which the park manages) it is well worth staying here with the $Wise option. TV reception is poor but they have wired the park and lend you a lead to connect to the park satellite nice little touch. The historic bridge just below the park is a good point from which to watch the platypus in the river. Meals at pub in town and the general store is at the park. Stopped for one night and stayed for two.
