This free camping area is located on the banks of the Murray River. It is large and has plenty of grassy areas to select from. Plenty of shade is on offer as well.It is a good place to have a swim or go fishing.  Rangers have advised dogs are not permitted.

Staying here currently. The entry track is about 150m and a bit steep, and has some water ruts. We came down slowly with our 20’ ‘on road’ van. There are quite a few mowed sites with pebbly beach. Other sites have a bank to the water. The river runs fairly fast and I decided against swimming. There is shaded or sunny areas. Very peaceful days and occasional possums at night.

There are no bins, campers need to take out their own rubbish. Rangers advise dogs are not permitted.

We spent 1 night here in January 2018. Beautiful spot for a night or longer. Variety of sites on a loop by following the river, full sun or shade available. Didn't notice any bins or picnic tables. would recommend to all.
