Pandanus Tourist Park is located on Davidson Street which is set back with a green barrier from Port Douglas Road, the main street leading to Macrossan Street, the heart of Port Douglas.

Pandanus Caravan Park, Port Douglas Smallish park with lovely friendly staff, the position was excellent being only a short stroll to town, two minutes to a bottle shop and excellent Chinese restaurant. Facilities were clean and well maintained but the showers were the smallest I have found, having to step back into the shower to open the door. That being said, the showers themselves were excellent. The park itself was a dust bowl, with efforts of grass that had obviously not been watered and large areas of dust. Such a shame as this could be a lovely park if it was looked after a little better. It is positioned just off a busy road which can create some noise, but that did not bother us too much, however the backpackers lodge next door was an issue with some rowdies and loud music at times. All in all I would recommend this park if you can stand a little noise and dust.

Tight, powered caravan sites, and the non powered camp sites are tiny and very wet most of the time. Facilities like camp kitchen and laundry and toilets are modern and clean with all services. Would I recommend it, I think there are better at a lesser price.
