This free overnight rest area is located near the Ferry crossing. It is bush camping with grassy areas and shade availabe. It is on the banks of the Murray River. Here you will find toilets and non-potable water.

Good camp spot right on river. Shady sites but could be dusty near ferry. We camped on grass on river towards houses. Lovely views with the red cliffs and river.

Stayed here over the Adelaide Cup Weekend. Great spot. Ferry is not busy and of no disturbance at all. Able to camp right on the riverbank and swim. Because of the close proximity to the ferry, ski boats and jet skis are less frequent.
