This is a small overnight rest area that has a easy bitumen layout with grassy sites. It now operates on a $10 per night permit fee. Honesty boxes will be used to collect the fees.
Here you will find toilets, water, picnic tables, dump point and pets are allowed.

Stopped here for morning tea mid week, quiet spot and removed from the hwy. Town appears to be very RV friendly. Rest stop has picnic tables, clean toilet, bins and waste water dump facilities. Drinking water is available, but tap does not connect to a hose fitting. Local government signage states: one night maximum stay within 7 day period. Dogs on lead are OK. No fires permitted.

This is an excellent place to stop for the night, however it is a very popular spot and sometimes can be fairly crowded.
We will definitely be back.

We stayed here overnight, a lovely campsite,very clean and tidy, suitable for big Rigs, Dump Point very accessible. An example of what could be done by other shires, well done Dalveen.

Nice little spot just off the New England Highway. It is not too noisy even though it is close to the highway. There is a dump point and toilet there. The town wants to encourage people to stay and are very welcoming. It had been raining all day when I arrived and there was not a lot of area to park due to the rain as the area was very soggy. Great for an overnight stay.
