Glen Helen Lodge is the only accommodation located within the Tjoritja - West MacDonnell Ranges National Park, 130km west of Alice Springs.

This extraordinary landscape is 800 million years old and has been home to the Western Aranda Aboriginal people for tens of thousands of years.

Enjoy a haven of outback hospitality with 25 motel rooms, shared accommodation in the Stockman's Quarters, and an expansive campground. The property has a popular local restaurant, bar/bistro, swimming pool and general store.

There is so much to see and do with a range of 4WD tours, nature and bush walks, and the ‘must do’ helicopter scenic flights over Glen Helen and Ormiston Gorges, and the West MacDonnell Ranges. A Swim in Glen Helen Gorge is also a must.

Visit us in the Central Australian outback and soak up the incredible beauty of one of the earth’s oldest landscapes.

Glen Helen Lodge Campground has 20 powered campsites suitable for caravans, campervans, camper-trailers and tents, as well as a number of unpowered bush campsites.  The campground has hot showers in a modern amenities block, and campers can use the free BBQ.  Campground guests are welcome to use the lodge pool, as well as the restaurant, bar and bistro.

The Glen Helen Lodge books local tours and scenic flights over West MacDonnell Ranges.

Nice campground with beautiful views of the gorge. Dirt sites, amenities basic but clean, showers good. Lovely walk along the water to the gorge. Have a drink from their bar, sit on their deck and enjoy the view! Guinness available! Gorge lit up at night. Popular stopover for quite a few bus tour groups, but they have their own designated sites, so were not a problem. Enjoyed our stay.
