This free overnight rest area is gravel based with unsealed tracks at the rear where you can get further away from the road. It has tank water and a picnic table.

This was a great coffee break site but would be a super overnighter. Huge space with lots of area to the rear, almost to the rail line. Good gravel area with trees and shrubbery. A good location before or after Port Augusta.

An excellent level area for an overnighter. You can get back from the road and away from the truck noise although not much traffic at all tonight. A great rest area!
