Our caravan park sits right on the innovative and eco-friendly Millennium Esplanade, an ideal place for picnics, barbeques and of course swimming. The waters at Tannum Beach are patrolled by lifesavers during Spring and Summer, providing a safe way to cool off and with only a small variation in water temperature during the year, you can take a dip virtually all year round.

There’s plenty to see and do at Tannum Sand and Boyne Island with cafes and shopping facilities plus a boat ramp, skate park and golf course to keep the whole family entertained.

At the caravan park you’ll find a range of accommodation options to suit all budgets  and facilities including a resort style swimming pool, tennis court, BBQ’s, camp kitchens and more

We stayed on a powered site for a week in May 2021. The park is quite large and a bit rustic looking at first sight. We found it very enjoyable. The beach is across the road with more beaches, the surf club and lovely landscaped waterfront areas just up the road. The location is quiet with just a boat ramp past the park. On arrival Chantelle at reception, offered to let us walk around and chose a site if we wished. We ended upon the site she had for us and found it great. Further up the back there are sites with even more room and suitable for large RV’s. Facilities were good and clean. I loved the notice on the arrival paperwork that said ‘Please water our grass with your sullage water’. Are you listening CMCA Parks? Regarding the midgees.. we bought some repellent from the office, it is natural without Deet and I have to say it is the best we have come across. It works and is very soothing. It’s called Sandfly and Mozzie Stuff. Www.the locals.net.au. We have stayed at places where the insects will carry you off if you are not anchored. Did I mention Jacobs Well? Tannum Sands is not too bad for insects but they will get you at dawn and dusk if you are not protected. This stuff works for us and we are still using it. We don’t have shares in the company! We will go back to this park.

Park is needs a good refurbishment. Some slabs are cracked, the grass beside the slabs need to be trimmed and amenities updated. However, the staff are excellent and overall the park is an enjoyable place to stay.

Well laid out park with clean facilities. Great facilities for the kids and right across from the beach. TIP: Take heavy duty mosquito repellant for the persistant mozzies at dusk.
