This free overnight rest area is located beside the highway. It has no facilities except for a couple of picnic tables and wood fireplaces. It does have grassy areas with plenty of trees to offer shade if desired.

This together with the Lions Lookout, is a neglected area that should be delisted from the geowiki site. The area is not level, is beside a busy highway. Rubbish abounds.. Would be a very noisy stop for anyone unfortunate enough to stay there.
