This low cost camping area has a maximum stay of 48 hours. Donations are gratefully requested to help with the upkeep of this camping area which can be made at the General Store/Post Office. There is plenty of room to camp anywhere around the oval. They offer limited power near the amenities block, toilets, hot showers, water and dogs are permitted.

Nice camp-site shower closed in toilet block. Toilets not very clean lots of mud on floor and slippery and muddy to get into toilet. BBQ very dirty not usable. Quite spot with only fully self contained vehicles aloud. Have to register prior to set up or arrival. They must of had a lot of rain prior to us being there. Nice quaint little town.

This is a quiet campsite walking distance into town. Good level grassy sites are found on the other side of the oval opposite the amenities. Directions at the amenities ask that you don't park in the immediate vicinity as the area is used by others groups.
Flushing toilets old but clean & a shower in the ladies & gents. The shower was adequate but we felt the water could have been warmer (not a complaint just stating facts). Probably best for use in the summer months. We didn't find any potable water here.
Donations are gratefully accepted at the post office. The town is lovely with a good selection of restaurants & cafes. A good base for visiting Canberra as it is only a 30 minute drive away. We would stay here again.

While we did not overnight here we did check it out and it is an excellent quite camp in a small village. A key to the facilities can be obtained for access. Interesting, there is sign warning not to use the grounds during high winds, no doubt due to the many large trees which could drop branches. The town centre and hotel are nearby.
