Relax with lots of birds and trees in one of our cabins, vans or camping sites....
The village is set amongst 20 acres of beautiful native bushland, on the outskirts of Rockingham and is only minutes from the beaches and city centre. Opposite the park are bush trails for you to wander through and admire the wildlife. Also Lake Cooloongup is situated approximately two kilometres along Old Mandurah Road with barbecue and picnic areas.
Directions: From Perth coming on Kwinana Freeway, come off at the Thomas Road, exit and turn right onto Thomas Road. Continue along for a few klms and turn left into Gilmore Avenue. Continue along Gilmore for several klms and through the railway crossing and traffic lights at Old Mandurah Road into Dixon Road. Rockingham Holiday Village is approximately 200 metres along Dixon Road on the right hand side......
Nice park, though expensive for what it it. Located close enough to town at the end of a light industrial area on a busy road.
The facilities are good, and clean. Park has large number of permanents, some in tents, but not problems there. Park manager (Michael) very accommodating and helpful. Park has a lot of trees for shade, but is not really good for satellite tv, however a normal tv aerial works for most stations. CMCA dump point is also onsite near ablutions but not very easy to get to in big rigs due to narrow streets in park. Overall, a good park.
Very clean facilities, friendly welcoming staff, easy access to public transport (bus at the gate). Chinese cafe on site.
