Wallaville Hotel

Free Camping - Queensland

Wallaville Hotel is a historical building, built over 100 years ago. Originally built for the Sugar Cane industry, with the Sugar Mill built close by. The Sugar Mill has been closed now for some time but the old pub still remains solid and strong. The area now boasts not only sugar cane but small crops are very prevalent in the area. We now support the Backpacker Industry with Backpacker Style Accommodation available. Backpackers work in the area on local farms. Come on in and have a visit to this historic hotel. Bob and Nola are you hosts and welcome you.  We have a full menu available. Ranging from pizza to steak.

Camp facilities are available at the Wallaville Hotel for one night for free. Showers are $2.50 and washing $4.00 a load and are available on request.

We are open from Sunday to Thursday 3 to 8ish and Fridays and Saturdays 12 to 10ish.

Wallaville is a small village which has seen better days when the town has a sugar mill providing more employment. The hotel and a general store opposite are the only businesses surviving. The free camp is beside the hotel and is a reasonable size area with some shade from trees. Need to be self contained but there are some public toilets in the play ground next to the pub. Pub has recently reopened after change of ownership,
