This popular free overnight rest area is large with plenty of spots to choose from. It does have bushes here but not high enough for shade. It is gravel based and offers toilets with disabled access, picnic tables and a dump point.

This is another well maintained MRD 24 site with good facilities a bit close to the highway for some but you can move back from the noise. The highway there is flat so road noise is not too bad.
