Fridays campground is situated approx 2km north of Steiglitz on Durdidwarrah Road. It provides a good base for exploring the historic gold mining area of Steiglitz Historic Park, wildflower and wildlife studies and bushwalking. The area has basic facilities including shared fireplaces, tank water (not suitable for drinking), pit toilets and picnic tables. There are sites available to suit camper trailers as well as tent only sites. Firewood collection is not permitted. Bring a fuel stove. Advanced bookings and payment are required.
