Rollingstone Beach Caravan Resort

Please  note:  turn off the highway at GPS -19.015698, 146.366343 and follow Hencamp Creek Road to the end.  Take special care turning off the highway as there are no turn off bays, indicate early as you will have to come to a very slow speed to turn and you will be making the traffic behind you come to an almost stop as well.

Just 60km north of Townsville is Rollingstone Beach Caravan Resort. Opened in 2002, the resort boasts quality facilities and stunning views of Palm Island and the Great Barrier Reef.

Most caravan and camping sites are either beach front or lake front, the choice is yours - or why not spoil yourself with your own ensuite.

Ensuite Powered Sites 
Ensuite powered sites are either beach front or just back from the beach. All have their own shower, toilet and hand basin and will take up to an 8.2 metre van. Tents are welcome.

Powered Sites 
Powered sites can be beach front, lake front, or in between. Beach front sites are smaller, accommodating vans up to 8.2 metres.  Larger sites are availabile and extra large sites can accommodate 5th Wheelers and Motorhomes.

Unpowered Sites
Large grassy sites suitable for those not requiring power - small or large tents, camper trailers or caravans

We have two styles of accommodation available. Our 4.5 star Beachfront Villas (2 or 3 bedroom), which are luxurious chalet style units, all overlook the beach and across to Palm and Havana Islands, and north to Orpheus and Hinchinbrook Islands.

The second option is our two bedroom Ocean View Cabins which are set just back from the beach.

Modern amenities including large resort pool with spacious sites. Activities include, bird watching, beach and creek fishing or just plain relaxing.
