This free camping area is located on the banks of the Peel River. There are two sides of the river to choose from. One side has toilets and wood BBQ's, the other side has covered picnic tables and wood BBQ's. Whichever side you choose, you will find nice grassy sites with some shade. Make sure that you BYO wood for the BBQ's though.
Located across the road from the reserve, is the Fossicking Reserve where you can try your luck at finding gold!
Tip: This area is prone to flash flooding, so please be aware in heavy rain, you may have to move quickly. Also, in winter, the temperatures can be below zero, so take your thermals!
