Please note - The ACT Government has closed the Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC) campsite indefinitely in response to possible protest activity. There is concern protestors will now look to new locations in the Capital Region for camping areas 21/03/2022.

EPIC's Camping Facilities are set on 70 hectares of unique country surroundings only 8 minutes north of the city centre and offer:

  • Full Amenities including showers, toilets and laundry
  • Powered and Unpowered Sites with access to Water
  • Quiet Location
  • Pet Friendly
  • Public Transport Services
  • Farmers Market every Saturday morning
  • Large drive through grass sites for caravans and motorhomes
  • Grey water and black water dump points

A favourite for campers at EPIC is the Capital Region Farmers Market held on site each Saturday from 7:30am to 12:00 noon.  A huge range of fresh produce is available from regional growers and producers.

Great place to stay reasonably close to all attractions with easy access to Sydney and Melbourne.

30 January 2020. Stayed 4 nights with motorhome 7.4m. Very helpful reception staff. Easy drive through sites. Adequate facilities although camp kitchen almost non existent. Drove easily to War Memorial and Mint then used rail pass and free buses. Railway very close by. Very roomy and plenty of space for everyone. Reccommended.

We stayed here for one night. Excellent place to stay for a night as able to remain hooked up. Facilities are clean and in good condition. Would stay here again.

Spent 5 nights and although a great place to be handy to everything we were not impressed with EPIC anymore. Filthy laundry and camp kitchen area. With the amount of money being paid daily surely cleaners could be employed daily. Even ran out of loo paper one day. Booking in chap didnt even know how many were in. Find a spot any spot. Electrical cord having to be placed under the neighbours caravan to reach the power supply. No sullage pit for some sites - our site included. Over 115 vans booked in at $36 night ... surely a better service could be supplied.

Nothing more to add that hasn't already been said. Still a fantastic site for people wishing to visit Canberra.

Plenty of room even for our big rig, disappointed with facilities. Showers and toilets shabby and not cleaned, grounds dusty but at end of April and still no rain. Would stay again as very easy in and out of city.

This is a good place to stay in Canberra. Probably the cheapest. Reception staff are very helpful. Amenities are clean. Some sites are uneven and its a bit hit and miss to get both water and power however there are plenty of spots. MacDonalds and Woolworths petrol 300m away at the Federal Highway entrance gate at the traffic lights. 15 min drive in to the centre of Canberra. Light rail currently being built from the Flemington Rd entrance gate all the way in to the Civic City Centre. That will be brilliant for campers once its completed. Farmers Market each Sat morning in large green shed 250m from the camp spot and they are absolutely fantastic. Good laundry with $3 machines and dryer.

This is more like a caravan park than a campground as it has all facilities. Amenities block laundry (5 washers and 1 dryer $3 per load) outdoor eating area with Bar-B-Ques all sites with power water and most also with sullage. There is a dump point on site which is very accessible. You are sited on grass (no slabs). The only downside is that all sites are not necessarily level so some chocking may be necessary on some sites. You pay at the office which is clearly marked Camping just as you come in the main gate and turn left. Current fees are $33 per night.

Nothing additional really to add about this great camp. Been here several times and still good. The light rail has now been completed with a boarding station within walking of the camp.
