Camping area features: on the bank beside Cocoa Creek.
Location: turn off the Bruce Highway on to Cape Cleveland Road. Travel 12 km to the Cocoa Creek camping area turn-off, on the left. Several bush tracks along Cocoa Creek Road lead to designated camping areas.
Access: during wet periods (December to April) roads can become boggy and access is suitable for four-wheel-drive vehicles only. Bush tracks are prone to erosion; always check tracks before driving over them, particularly when close to the creek.
Number of sites: open areas without separately defined sites. Up to eight people per area are allowed.
Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your four-wheel-drive vehicle.
Facilities: none.
Open fires: prohibited. Bring a fuel or gas stove.
Generators: not permitted.
