Nice small area takes about 8 vehicles. We are 23 foot and that was fine. Toilets have been upgraded so not too bad. You must register with Townsville council to stay and ranger checks daily. Go online which is best option as you are guaranteed a site or register when you come . No water view but only a minute to beach and creek

Saunders Beach Rest Area is a nice place, with a nice beach, and a quite place to stay. As per almost every other review on other sites, the toilet facilities are truly awful, so be prepared.

Small beach side area at Saunders Beach.
Walk from your Motorhome on to the beach and walk for miles along the sand.
Fishing in the sea of the creek. Nearby boat ramp
