Shallow Inlet Campground

Do not get this confused with Shallow Inlet Caravan Park, this is a bush campground, not the caravan park. 

You drive 20 metres past the caravan park to reach the (completely separate & managed) bush campground. It is a fantastic low cost ($20 per site per night for 2 people) shady campground. There are plenty of sites available. It is extremely large and very well maintained. The fee applies from November to Easter. Outside the period of Easter to October the fee is $10 per site per night. The large sites are a mixture of grass & dirt. Most are covered in shade however, you will find some sunny sites. The managers are very nice and stay on site in a big fifth-wheeler at the entrance. To the left of the park, is the boat ramp that you can launch your boat at high tide only. This is a fantastic base to head into Wilsons Prom.  It is a very peaceful here. The birds are chirping and it's just relaxing. Enjoy a swim or have a fish and there are some great walking to be had here as well. Here you will find toilets with disabled access, water, generators are allowed, dogs are allowed here as well.
