Bombala Caravan Park

Caravan Park - New South Wales

This council run caravan park is located on the banks of the lovely Bombala River.  Come and watch the platypus at play in the afternoon.  It offers powered and unpowered sites, on-site vans as well 3 cabins including a family unit.  Large shady trees to relax under while you're here as well.

An office has now been set up for the park manager to use during the day as well.

Facilities include amenities block with laundry, camp kitchen, BBQ area, childrens playground, disabled access, dump station.

It is pet friendly as well.

Great weekend with the Canberra region Wanderers. Clean facilities and a short walk into the friendly town.

We loved Bombala. We parked with a view of the river. Good facilities with all showers, toilets and laundry in one building requiring a PIN. The office is generally open between 8.30am to 9.30am and 4.30 pm to 5.30pm. Short walk to town over the bridge. We had a good meal in the club. Saw 3 platypus.

Well maintained and run small campground on the banks of the river. Platypus spot from your rig or drive few kms out of town to the platypus reserve. This campground has the best hot showers and amenity block. ??????

Located a short walk from the township this small park is well maintained by the very friendly council staff. Stayed only for one night when passing through but had enough time to enjoy the lovely walkway along the river. The cost of $26 for a powered site and full use of the clean facilities is quite reasonable. Pet friendly as well. Would recommend this for those passing through or using as a base for exploring the Snowy high country and region.

One night, well grassed sites. Great facilities, including separate disabled toilets and showers. I thought the rate for powered site ($26.50) was a bit hexy for the area. Walked into town and did a bit of shopping at the IGA (formerly Foodworks) and a couple of beers at one of the pubs. But I would stay again.
