This reserve is available for free camping. It is located along the river. There are no facilities here really except for picnic tables and wood fireplaces (BYO wood). To get here: Turn south off the Mid Western Highway onto Murrumbidgeee River Road (either 16km East of Hay or 241km west of West Wyalong) for 3.1 kms. Turn south at the River sign, continue through the gate and veer left and follow the track to the river for 1km. There are a number of sites here along the river for you to camp. The GPS co-ordinate given here gets you to the track.

Camped overnight there in October 2015. Grass a bit long. Main features are well away from traffic and right on riverbank. Look for Travelling Stock Reserve sign near entrance track. Don't recall there being any garbage bins.

Visited December 2017 after very heavy rain. Tracks almost impassable. Overgrown and does not appear to have been used for a long time.
