The Kylie's Beach campground access point, in Crowdy Bay National Park, is closed indefinitely due to significant erosion. 15.3.2021 ls

Kylie’s beach is named for Australian author Kylie Tennant who once lived in the area and whose timber hut ‘writer’s retreat’ is within the park.

The campground is set behind the sand dunes and offers car-based campsites as well as caravan and camper trailer camping, so it is a great place for family camping near the beach. You might find you're sharing the campground with local koalas and yellow-tailed black cockatoos. They like the gum trees, so keep your eyes peeled.

Picnic tables are located in a grassed area next to the carpark at the 4WD beach access to Diamond Head, between Diamond Head campground and Kylie’s Beach campground.

Activities: campingGetting there: Kylie’s Beach campground is located in the northern section of Crowdy Bay National Park. Access is via Diamond Head Road.

Team Tripigy has stayed here before. This is a great open space with green grass and good running water. Just a short walk to the beach but sheltered from the weather. Large vans and motorhomes can easily access the site.
