This overnight rest area is located down the left side of the Bush Fire Brigade. It is for self contained vehicles only.
It offers unpowered grassy areas to camp on for 24 hours only. There are toilets here however, they are unlocked only when the sports ground is being used for sports events.
Please note: don't fill your tanks with water in this town as the whole town is on tank water and don't have any to spare. Thank you for your understanding.
A donation is required to use this facility which is payable at the shop. A deposit is required for key access to the showers and toilets: $15 deposit and $10 is refunded back upon return of the key.

Great grassed site with old toilets & shower. See Tanya to get the key at the shop $15 deposit with $10 on return of key. A $5 donation would be appreciated for upkeep by the locals. There is an undercover verandah for sitting in the sun. Walk to pub, takeaway, coffee shop & antique shop. (Some of these are only open certain days) The town is on tank water so please use sparingly. Entry is via Pine Street as the main gate has an overhead low sign across the entrance. Lovely quite spot with heaps of room. CVR chapter have an annual chapter weekend there.
