Relax on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, maybe catch some fish for dinner? This free camping area offers you a view of the historic Carrathool Truss Bridge. Completed in 1922, engineered by Percy Allan, there are only 3 left in NSW. This bridge however, is the only one of these in a timber truss road bridge left. There is shade available.
It can be accessed by either Sturt Highway or Murrumbidgee River Road.
Please note: the bridge has a width restriction of 3.2 metres but no weight restriction as of December 2014.
