Manbulloo Homestead Caravan Park

Caravan Park - Northern Territory

Favourite

Manbulloo Homestead Caravan Park is a family owned and operated business. Purchased by Brian and Stephanie Hill in June 1995, the caravan park at that time consisted of 25 powered sites and 1 ablution block, which was built in the late 1970’s.

During the last 25 years, Brian and Stephanie have expanded Manbulloo Homestead Caravan Park to include 116 powered sites, 41 unpowered sites, 3 ablutions blocks and 2 camp kitchens, plus various cabins and accommodation. The majority of shade is provided by African Mahogany trees planted in 1979.

The owners have a small herd of brahman cattle. Adjoining land was purchased in 2004 to allow a bitumen access road to be built from the highway and to gain extra land for cattle production.

Manabulloo Homestead is a caravan park with a difference. Set on a working cattle property on the banks of the Katherine River, the caravan park offers a range of acommodation options and activities. It’s a short drive to the centre of the Katherine township and surrounded by wonderful places to visit.

We are open all year round and happy to welcome you if you drop in. Just remember, during our busy tourist season, June to August, it’s important to book ahead.

Great place to stay, not crowded in April. Grandma offers pet minding for $20 a half day, the money goes to the grandkids uni expenses. A short drive to Katherine and about 45 mins to the Gorge.

Great spot for big rigs and pets. 50 meter walk to the River, but it is very steep so be careful. Here in September but plenty of grass and large trees so good shade.

A delightful cattle station stay with all the benefits. Shady trees and generous sites, and only a few kilometres from Katherine. There are a lot of grassed sites but it was not to be today, unfortunately. Next time! Highly recommend this lovely place. Tomorrow morning we are going to to help feed water buffalo and Brahmin cattle.

Great place but very hard to find an unpowered site with enough solar.
