Nice spot, but nearby sewage pumping station's odour putrid. Depends on wind direction.

Lovely spot by the lake. Large flatish grassed areas with several water taps around. Short walk to shops, cafes etc.

This is a large campsite (self contained only). Plenty of shade have stayed when it has been both dusty and nice and green. Overall sites are level nice ambiance being near the water. Short walk to town. There are several potable water taps dotted around the campsite. It is a popular site so getting in early rather than late can be advantageous.

Thanks Forbes. Great meals just over the bridge. During Dec to Feb there is a packing shed 7 km south. Just picked. We are still eating what we bought 4 weeks ago.

A promised return visit to stay overnight, very humid but lovely location, and an area away from trees. Great walking tracks and seats to relax on. Thanks to the rain, this whole area is vivid green. Dump point located in the park. Thanks Forbes for allowing us to stay.

We called in for a break and morning coffee and wished we were staying. Lovely area with grassy view. Many travellers here but only 24 hr stay allowed. We will return one day. Thank you Forbes.

This is a large area close to the town centre on the banks of the creek that passes through town. When we were there is was dry and very dusty but no doubt would be better when not in severe drought. Plenty of room and plenty of shade. Driveways into the site have recently been improved and are now bitumen

Great spot to camp you can walk into town via the bridges either end of the water. It is very popular as on both occasions we have stayed hear there have been quite a lot of other campers. There is potable water along with picnic tables & rubbish bins and plenty of shade.

Nice place and pretty quiet, its just a pity that caravaners cant read, grey water everywhere, did mention it and got told i was an idiot, it wont be long before the smell will keep travellers away, just a pity really, such a nice place

Stayed April 2017. Fantastic free park for self contained vehicles. It is about 10 min walk into town - get the history walk brochure from the Tourist Information Centre - lots of heritage buildings. In the morning was about 5 min walk to toilets at the other end in the Lions Park. Lots of vans stopping - some for many days. Only one tap we could see to fill up. Lovely walk along the river.

A quiet shady restful area beside Lake Forbes central to the town. Toilets and dump point in the Lions Park as you enter Junction Street just before you get to Wheogo Park. Camping Area Just a 10 minute walk over Lachian Street Bridge to Sports Club and large I.G.A. Store. A very pleasant overnight stay.
