Located on the south coast of the Peninsula, 10 kilometres southwest of Edithburgh - access via Troubridge Point Drive near corner of Heel Road - popular fishing spot - BYO water and firewood – some shade – suitable for all vehicles – weak mobile phone signal – no facilities

There are many secluded spots to camp on Yorke Peninsula, with 19 designated campgrounds within the Yorke Peninsula Council region.  A permit per vehicle is required to camp at these places, with the permit transferable between all 19 campgrounds. 

Permits are $10 per vehicle, per night OR $50 per week (5-7 nights), $150 per month (28 nights), or $500 per year, with discounts for local ratepayers. This permit does NOT cover Innes National Park.

Small and close to the road and a Wind farm nearby, having said that it was quiet with not much passing traffic. Road was a bit rutted so take it easy. Tide goes out a fair way, nice spot would go again ??
