This free overnight rest area is located on the corner of Plunkett Road and Bowna Road. It is large, grassy and has shade available. There are no facilities here and dogs are permitted. Great TV reception here.

Nice quiet spot away from the Hume freeway, no noise, no facilities and big rigs can fit with no problem.

Turn off Bowna Road in Plunkett Road and the turn in is 20 meters on your right. Level spots and very little road noise. We were the only people on the night we stayed.

Lovely quiet spot. Plenty of room and level ground with a few impromptu fire pits set up. Good walk in either direction along the Hume Howell trail too if you feel so inclined.
