Situated on the banks of the river, nestled amongst shady cottonwood trees and well-maintained gardens it is the ideal spot for fishing, kayaking, swimming, motorbike riding, cycling, bushwalking and relaxing. Great for travellers, holiday makers, caravan clubs, boating & fishing enthusiasts. Motorbikes & cyclists can also enjoy the beautiful countryside and tracks located in the area.

Whether it be summer, autumn, winter or spring, Walwa Riverside Caravan Park offers beautiful scenery, local waterfalls and attractions. Situated on the banks of the Murray river where you can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking or just a lazy float down the river. The ever changing leaves in autumn, a cosy relax by the campfire or day trips to the snow in winter. In Spring the cottonwood trees drop cotton like balls which look like the park is covered in snow. Majestic mountains surround the park and offer spectacular sunrise and sunsets. You may even spot the platypus family that live near the boat ramp at dusk.

We stayed here January 2018. it is quite a small park, but some of the sites are rather large. The riverside sites looked great but were a little smaller than some others. Even at full capacity it was still quiet and peaceful here. The amenities were good and were cleaned 2 or 3 times a day. The owners Kevin and Heidi were really nice and they go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. Would definitely recommend to anyone. We loved it.

Gem of a little park. Peaceful bush setting on the banks of the Murray River with access from the caravan park. Wildlife and birds aplenty. Immaculate amenities and laundry. Dump point just a short distance away up the entrance road. Great meals at the pub. Good base for exploring the areas up alongside the western side of the Kosciuszko alpine area. $32 site with power and water in Nov19. Highly recommend. Congratulations to Kevin And Heidi for their management and efforts.

Great Caravan Park right on the Murray River. The park management team are super friendly as well. We have stayed here the last five years during the January school holiday the kids love swimming in the river. There is a Dump point 200m up the road next to the community centre.
