Not a bad spot for an overnight as it is well off the highway so its pretty quiet - but you need to be self-contained. You can also poke into the scrub and find a camping spot (small rigs) hidden away in the bush.
And theres a nice 15-minute walk that takes you to the railway line time it right and you could wave at the Ghan!

A repeat camping site for us and nice and quiet. Very little rubbish around and multiple bins provided. A basic shelter and tables. This is a huge area, depending on your style of camping. Could be interesting in wet weather.
