Ettamogah Pub

Private Campground - New South Wales

Albury Ettamogah was used as the base to bring the Ettamogah brand into a themed restaurant and pub chain across Australia. Continual development has turned the Albury Ettamogah into a well known and well loved tourist destination. Combining a unique atmosphere with exceptional service, stepping into a Ettamogah pub is like stepping into a Maynard cartoon itself, providing a unique and refreshing experience for all. Featuring “Bluey’s Barn” a large undercover dining area that boasts an open fire, weekly entertainment for the whole family and overlooks a large grassy area where the children can play.

Two places to park they are the carpark and a large playing field at the rear of the Pub. Excellent meals friendly staff and only 10 minutes to Albury. The cafe next to the pub has ice creams that are huge even better than the famous pie shop at Frederickton on the North Coast of NSW.

Stayed here on the way to the Canberra Rally. You have to spend $10 at the bar or on a meal. Toilets and shower available. Large area adjacent to the carpark for parking up. A good spot some slight road noise but nothing to worry about. There is a cafe, lolly shop and a few old buildings to check out. It has been out of action for many years but has started up again. Needs the support of patrons to keep the doors open. Approx 1km off the Hume Hwy. Easy to find but if coming from the South there is no road signage to indicate the turn off. Just the road name itself.

Great place to visit and stay the night. Host very friendly. Cold beer, and bar meals. They told us the new kitchen will be up and running in the next week or two so will be having a bigger and better menu. We will be going back in a couple of months to check it out. Showers nice and hot.

One of the better cheap camps. Nice grassed oval and facilities. Well worth a stop
