This is a great Private Campground, located within Bulahdelah.Has all the facilities and you can get power, water and the location even has a dump point. The location allows pets. Sites are flat and nice and grassy.
Note: Campground is closed during the month of November for local events to be held at the location. Although this location is open, a sign is displayed to all campers that there is a cost of $16 per site per night, which must be paid to the local information center.

Nice green grass with plenty of power boxes. Care must be taken though if rain is predicted as it is very much subject to a soggy ground so if it is predicted ensure that you park on as solid a piece of ground as you can find (generally this can be found between the oval fence and through road). It will close after heavy downpours to allow grounds to dry out. Some week nights they have sports on the recreation ground (not the showground oval) so you may get parked in for a couple of hours but just enjoy the free entertainment. Fees are paid to the Visitor Information Centre ($17 for power) but it is for self contained rigs and last time I was there the amenities were locked.

Beautiful and green plenty of flat spaces, water, power, Dog Friendly & Clean Facilities. Only $18 a night great place to stay.

There is a public dump point on site suitable for all rigs and tank types.

It is a really good overnight stop. The Bowling Club was chock full of free stayers, it was worth the $18 donation to the sports field to use their showers and toilets.

We checked out the Lions Free Camp and it was full and we drove on having no idea where to stop but followed signs to the Bowling Club....and bingo !....drove past the Club and into the Showgrounds....excellent....did not need amenities or power but slipped the cash into the box opposite the amenities....top spot and for $18 the freebie is no contest !
