This low cost campsite as of Jan 2014 was $5 per campsite per night is located on the waterfront. It has modern toilets with disabled access, non-potable water (limited), picnic tables and dogs are permitted. There is a boat ramp here to launch from and is popular with fishing lovers. There are plenty of trees to provide shade here if desired. Nice outlook over the water and the sites are grassy. Maximum stay is 4 nights.

Gordon Seaside Reserve - a great place to stay with wonderful water views and the sound of water lapping on the pebbles overnight.
A pleasant walk to the nearby park and jetty. We enjoyed picking the blackberries along the roadside.
There is a problem with the owner of the sheds in the reserve, with him requiring campers to keep clear of his 'domain'.

The Gordon Foreshore Reserve is just opposite Bruny Island and has a great outlook. The area is level and fairly large and can accommodate quite a lot of rigs. We found this area more spacious that the Reserve near the jetty which was also being used for camping.

Great camp spot by the river with toilets and 2 BBQ’s. Honesty box for $5 a night.

Great for camping. Make sure you use the foreshore reserve with toilets etc and not the jetty area which is 100 metres or so further along as people being fined if camped there.

Gordon Recreation Reserve. Great place to camp. Toilets available. Dumpspot but no potable water. Fishing from jetty or sml boat. Lots of grassed area some shade trees. Playground and gym equip. Camping alongside water or back on grassed area. $5 per night
