This is a large grassy area right next to the river. It's a great spot for kayaking and swimming. There are some fantastic High Country 4WD tracks surrounding the area. It is pet friendly and has pit toilets. Take a look at the Black Snake Creek Hut which was restored in 2012. The camping area also has wood fired BBQ's and picnic tables.
