Ferndale Park Camping Area

Located in the gorgeous Hunter Valley, you will find the little piece of heaven.  It is set on 150 hectares of grazing country and is in a relaxed river setting.  They offer camping anywhere in the park as well as in the main campsite located on the river.  They also have an onsite caravan as well as a self contained two bedroom cottage.  Dogs are welcome here.  

Facilities include toilets, hot showers, laundry, powered sites.  Bookings aren't taken for camping, first in-best dressed.  They also sell ice and firewood for your convenience.  The closest shops are in Dungog (23 kms away).  

Why not enjoy a swim in the river or go for a bush walk.  The friendly managers will give you tips on where to go.

**Important** People get lost and add 80kms to their journey when using GPS (especially Navman).  Please see their website for more information on how to get there.  One of the biggest common mistakes is that people put "Chicester Road" instead of "Chichester DAM Road".  Their website have clear directions to stop you from getting lost.
